1. Categories

The competition will include the following categories:

Senior Short Program and Free Skating
Junior Short Program and Free Skating
Advanced Novice Free Skating

2. General Regulations
The competition will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General
Regulations 2012, ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules Synchronized Skating 2012,
as well as all pertinent ISU Communications.

3. Technical Data
The competition will take place at the Frölundaborg Ice Rink with an ice surface of 60 meters
in length and 30 meters in width. Official practice will take place in the same ice rink. The
rink is indoor, heated artificial ice rink. 2nd Ice Rink is located 50 m from the main Arena.

4. Entries
All entries have to be sent to the Organizing Committee of the Leon Lurje Trophy no later
than November 30, 2012.

If a team withdraws from the Competition after November 30, the entry fee will not be
refunded.

5. Entry fee, extra practice.

Entry fee Competition: 3800 SEK (Form 1)

Extra practice ice will be available at the following dates:

Thursday January 24	08h00-22h30
Friday January 25	07h30-19h0

6. Judges
Each participating ISU Member may enter one (1) judge listed on the ISU list for Referees
and Judges for Synchronized Skating 2012/2013. Two (2) judges may be entered if the
member is participating with at least 4 teams in different categories. Form 4.
According to ISU Rules the panel of officials for each category will include:

1 Technical Controller
2 Technical Specialists
1 Referee
Minimum of 5 Judges
Assistants to the Panel (1 Assistant Referee Ice, 1 Data Operator, 1 Replay Operator, 1 Camera Operator)

The first Judges meeting will be held Friday January 25 at 17h00 at the Official Hotel.
The Organizing Committee will pay for travel expenses for the invited Referee, Technical
Controller, Technical Specialists and Data/Replay operators only. Travel expenses for Judges
are to be paid by each ISU Member.
The Organizing Committee will provide ground transportation, accommodation and meals,
from lunch on Friday, January 25th, 2013 to breakfast on Monday, January 28th, 2013 for the
invited Referee, Technical Controller, Technical Specialists, Data/Replay Operators and
nominated judges.

7. Recommended Hotels
The following choices of accommodations are recommended by the
Organizing Committee. Form 5.

Transportation to and from Arena/Hotel will only be available for
teams staying at Novotel or SPAR Hotel Majorna.

8. Planned Program Content sheet
With the entry forms the team shall attach the Planned Program Content Sheet, which must
be signed by either the Coach or the Team Leader. The Planned Program Content Sheet
may be changed at the time of competition. Form 10.

9. Music (according to rule 724)
Upon registration Team Leader or Team Manager must present two (2) quality copies of their
music on CD, (Compact Disk). Two (2) copies must be submitted by the Team Leader at
the time of Accreditation. Form 3.

All music must be properly inserted in their original cases and must be clearly identified with
the name of the Team and must show the exact running time of the music (no skating time),
which shall be certified by the Team Leader or Team Manager when submitted at the time of
registration.
The titles, composers and orchestra of the Music to be used for the Short Program and Free
Program must be listed for each Team on the Official Music-Press-Media Form (Form 3)
and attached to the Official Entry Form for Teams.

10. Liability
In accordance with Rule 119, it is the sole responsibility of each member participating in the
Leon Lurje Trophy to provide medical and accident insurance for the athletes, Officials and
all other members of the Member’s Team(s). Such insurance must provide full medical
coverage and also the return to the home country by air transport or by other expeditious
means of the ill or injured person.
The ISU, the Swedish Figure Skating Association and the Organizing Committee for the
Leon Lurje Trophy assume no responsibility for or liability with respect to bodily or personal
injury or property damage incurred in connection with the event by Competitors and
Officials.
The Organizer will not provide participant insurance coverage for the event.
The Organizer will provide emergency medical services for all Competitors during the
competition and official practices at the Official arena. The local hospital is in 10 minutes
distance from the Ice Rink.

11. Draws
The Official draw for the competition will take place Friday January 25 at 19h00 at the
Official Hotel (Novotel). Team Captains, Team Leaders, Coaches and Team Officials are
invited to participate at the official draw.
The intermediate draw will take place in the Arena. Further information will be given to the
teams during Team Leaders Meeting.

12. Opening ceremony
The opening ceremony will take place Saturday January 26 at 15h30 in the Arena. Two
skaters from each team are asked to take part in the Opening ceremony.

13. Award Ceremony
The Award Ceremony will take place immediately after the competition. All medal winning
teams in all three categories are asked to enter the ice during the ceremony.
